A friend of mine has recently had an Electro Interstitial Scan and a doctor has apparently given advice on the basis of its results. I was very skeptical of the whole thing from the start, - it sounds highly unlikely to me that you could do an effective full-body scan with only six electrodes, - and. This standard along with IEEE provide the electrical designer with guidance on how to properly reference and annotate everything from a simple circuit board to a complete enclosure all the way to a collection of these assemblies. It breaks down a system into units, and then any number of sub-assemblies.
The Unit is the highest level of demarcation in a system and is always a numeral. Subsequent demarcation are called assemblies and always have the Class Letter "A" as a prefix following by a sequential number starting with 1.
Any number of sub-assemblies may be defined until finally reaching the component. Especially valuable is the method of referencing and annotating cables plus their connectors within and outside assemblies.
The table below lists designators commonly used, and does not comply with the standard. Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else below. A friend of mine has recently had an Electro Interstitial Scan and a doctor has apparently given advice on the basis of its results. I was very skeptical of the whole thing from the start, - it sounds highly unlikely to me that you could do an effective full-body scan with only six electrodes, - and after a morning of internet searches it seems to me to be a phoney device marketed primarily to rip off the gullible.
But I can find very little clear information about it - if you only do a quick search you mostly get various alternative-type clinics promoting it and explaining all of the wonderful things it can do. Here's a news report advertising it that a couple of them link to as a basic overview: The device has apparently been marketed under the claims of scientific studies, e. Part of my problem trying to understand this is that the technology seems to still be being developed and updated, and I'm finding it hard to separate out the different updated and integrated technologies in the various devices.
The actual developers of this technology also seem to make much less fanciful claims about it than some of the other clinics and practitioners that use it e. One thing surprising me is how little information there is. If it's a genuinely significant advance in medical technology why can't I even find a wikipedia page about it?
